Stormes Nightclub, voted by the UK Angels the best Transgender Nightclub in the South UK

Established in 1980 by Ron Storme after the closure of the infamous and successful Porchester Hall. Since that time the club has become one of the leading venues for the Transgender Community to go, with the unique atmosphere that Ron Storme was able to create with his incredible charisma. Sadly in October 2000 Ron Storme passed away, but the memory of this pioneer of Transgender Nightspots still lives on with Stormes. The legacy is now under the management of hostess Andrea Hillaire.

Hostess Andrea Hillaire will greet you when you arrive, a tradition started by Ron Storme that still goes on today. Once inside you will sample for yourself the meaning of the phrase 'The friendliest Club in Town' when you meet others who come along to party. The clubs always attract a mixed audience so whether you are TG, Gay, Straight or just in between you will feel entirely comfortable.

After months and months of searching Stormes have finally found a venue with all the right ingredients for a great night out, a sensibly priced bar, music, dancing and live music in the ground floor bar and when you choose to escape to something a little quieter, up the stairs where you can enjoy a special Stormes bar snack menu or just sit and chat with friends with more subdued music and DVD's on the television monitors and all with easy parking and in hassle free surroundings.

Ron Storme - His Story

Cliveden
During the early 1960s, Ron and his partner George, whom he had met in 1947, were renowned for the parties they held at their house in Putney, south London. Guests included Kim Philby, Dusty Springfield and Ronnie and Reggie Kray. When the events outgrew the property, the Krays reputedly suggested what became the fancy dress balls at Porchester Hall. Andrea's World

Andrea's Hillaire's wonderful World of TV's and TS's, the website filled to the edges with pictures taken on her nights out as Hostess of Stormes Transgender Nightclub (formerly Ron Stormes) along with all the other places she can get too. Special reports, functions attended, news and announcements from other clubs and special events, links to friends and services that could be useful to visitors.

The UK Angels

Probably the largest of the UK TV social groups. As they say "Many transgendered girls admit that their fear of being found out neutralises much of the benefit they feel from dressing. Transgenderism will become accepted only when there is less secrecy. It is too easy for those who sneer or look down their noses to attack transgendered girls on the grounds that if they themselves are too embarrassed about what they do to admit to it in public then there must be something wrong with it". Well worth joining and you will meet many group members at the Stormes venues.
