25 Warren Street This is a Polish bar/resturaunt during the week, located in the Wall Street district. Karalyn has been  in several locations over the last 10 years, and has just recently wound up here.  Unfortunately the bar is not as upscale as her last place in Grammercy Park, (the Silver Swan), but at least it's easier to park.  Karalyn holds TG parties here on Saturday nights after 11pm.  She does not tolerate drugs or working girls.  So it's a great place to sit, chat, and meet "normal" people like us.  $5 cover charge.

Corner of 7th Avenue and Leroy Street This is a basement bar in the Village.  Not exactly French Renaissance decor, but the Now Bar has its own appeal.  The crowd here is younger, and more fashionably hip than at Karalyn's.  If you're looking for a lap dance, you'll find it here.  On Thursday and Saturday nites around 2am, Glorya Whole hosts the "Trannie Chaser" show.  The talent varies, you can see greats performances at the Now by such talent as Lypsinka, Lady Bunny, and Hedda Lettuce.  There's actually very little lip sync here, so you have to give these girls credit.

875 Washington Street (corner of 14th St) MOTHER: Jackie 60 andClick & Drag  Nightclub events for cool people of all persuasions and interests! - Two levels (first floor and basement) with three bars, in the meat packing district.  Like the Now Bar, this place caters to a younger crowd.  House music.  Lots of beautiful young people, many of whom do have a clue.  Some trannies, though not many.  The kids are into the fetish and Goth scene, but trannies are accepted rather than gawked at.  Check their website for theme parties.  Good nights to go are Tuesday and Saturday.  Either go in costume, or be beautiful, because you may not get in the door.  $10 cover.

301 W. 39th Street This is a Latino dance club and show bar with a bevy of talented beauties.  The crowd is mixed, straight, gay, lesbian, and trannie.  Some working girls.  Check their webpage Escuelita.com for dates and times of shows.  Thursday is the best night for T's.  Cover varies.  $3 on Thurs, $10 on Friday, and $15 on Saturday.

Call 212-675-7710 for reservations especially for groups and/or on weekends! - Two levels, two small bars.  This Village restaurant holds drag shows daily during and after dinner performed by the wait staff.  Mixed crowd, with tourists there to gawk at trannies.  No one goes to Lips for the food, but the show is fun.

Edelweiss

45th & 11th Avenue This place has been open and closed more than Clinton's zipper.  Think of it as 'hooker heaven.'  It's a fairly nice club with a couple of levels, but it used to be $20 to get in, $6 for a soda, and $150/hour to be with a grrl.  Since it's re-opened they've cleaned their act up a bit, but it's still home sweet home to a lot of the working girls.
